Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

Description
Ramona Purple Velvet Bed: Crushed Velvet Divan with Custom Storage
Purple has become one of the most requested colourways in velvet bedroom furniture, and the Ramona Velvet Bed is built to do it justice. Upholstered in a deep, richly pigmented crushed velvet, the Ramona pairs a soft, light-catching finish with a fully customisable divan base — so you get a genuine statement piece rather than a one-size-fits-all bed frame.
Why the Ramona Works as a Purple Velvet Bed
Crushed velvet has a natural sheen that shifts with the light, which is exactly what makes purple such an effective choice for it — the fabric brings out the depth of the colour rather than flattening it. The padded headboard on the Ramona gives you a comfortable spot to sit up and read or scroll before lights-out, while the divan base keeps the overall silhouette low, tidy and easy to dress with the rest of your bedroom.
Sizes, Storage and Mattress Options
The Ramona is available from Single 3ft through to Superking 6ft, with the base price starting at £280. From there, you can build the bed around your bedroom and your storage needs:
- Headboard: choose a one-piece headboard or a split headboard in two sections, plus optional height upgrades
- Storage base: no storage, gas lift storage, or ottoman end-lift storage
- Drawers: 2 or 4 storage drawers for smaller items, bedding and linen
- Mattress: from a soft-to-medium memory foam option through to a firm 3000-pocket spring pillow-top
- Delivery: main-entrance delivery, room delivery, or full delivery and assembly
Every option is selected on the product page, so the price and the bed adjust together as you build your spec.
Styling a Purple Velvet Bedroom
Purple velvet reads differently depending on the shade and the room around it. A lighter lilac-leaning purple keeps a bedroom soft and calm, working well with cream, blush or warm grey walls. A deeper, more saturated purple leans dramatic and works best as the anchor of the room — pair it with muted, neutral bedding and let the headboard do the talking, or go further with brass or gold accents for a more opulent finish.
FAQs
What sizes does the Ramona Purple Velvet Bed come in? The Ramona is available in Single 3ft, Small Double 4ft, Double 4ft, King Size 5ft and Superking 6ft, each selectable on the product page along with your preferred fabric colour.
Can I add storage to the Ramona? Yes. You can choose gas lift storage or ottoman end-lift storage, plus 2 or 4 built-in drawers, depending on how much extra space you need.
Is crushed velvet hard to maintain? Crushed velvet is generally easy to keep looking sharp with regular vacuuming on a low-suction upholstery setting and prompt attention to spills — heavy staining is best handled by a specialist upholstery cleaner.
Does the Ramona come with a mattress? A mattress is optional. You can choose “No Mattress Required” if you already have one, or select from several pocket spring and memory foam options at checkout.
Can I get the Ramona delivered and assembled? Yes — alongside standard delivery, you can add assembly as an option, provided the room and access to it are clear for the delivery team.
