Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

Description
Red Velvet Bed: The Reina Divan in Rich Crushed Velvet
A red velvet bed does a lot of the decorating for you. The Reina brings that same deep, jewel-toned finish to a proper British divan base — built to order, not off a shelf.
Why a Red Velvet Bed Works Harder Than You’d Expect
Crushed velvet catches light differently depending on where you’re standing, which is why a red velvet bed frame reads as bold in daylight and warm, almost candlelit, in the evening. It’s a colour that pairs easily with grey, cream or dark wood, so you’re not locked into a full red bedroom to make it work — just a headboard and base that anchor the room.
Built Around Your Room, Not a Fixed Spec
The Reina Velvet Bed ships in Single, Small Double, Double, King and Super King, upholstered in Crushed Velvet Red (or ten-plus other fabric and colourways, if red is just the shortlist favourite). From there, every practical detail is a choice rather than an add-on afterthought:
- Headboard height — from a standard profile up to a taller +40cm statement headboard, in one or split two-piece panels
- Storage — no storage, a lift-up ottoman end, gas-lift storage, or 2–4 drawers, depending on how much floor space the room forces you to think about
- Mattress — skip it entirely, or step up through memory foam, 1000–3000 pocket spring, and pillow-top options
- Delivery — main-entrance drop-off, or full room delivery with assembly, if you’d rather not build a bed frame on a Sunday
What Customers Notice First
The comment we hear most from buyers who’ve gone bold with a colour is a version of: “I was worried red velvet would feel like too much — it doesn’t, it just feels finished.” That’s the practical case for a divan over a statement four-poster: the upholstery does the visual work, the base quietly does the sleeping-and-storage work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Crushed Velvet Red fade or mark easily? Crushed velvet is more forgiving than plain velvet day-to-day since the pile hides light marking, but like any velvet it should be spot-cleaned rather than scrubbed.
Can I get the Reina in a lighter or plush red velvet instead of crushed? Yes — the fabric and colour options are separate choices on the page, so you can switch between crushed and plush finishes before checkout.
Is assembly included? Only if you select a delivery option that includes it; standard delivery is main-entrance drop-off.
