Marta Border Velvet Bed – Plush White Velvet Frame

There’s a reason plush white velvet keeps topping bedroom wish lists — it reads as fresh and hotel-crisp rather than stark, and it’s more forgiving day-to-day than most people expect from a pale fabric. The Marta Border Bed pairs that finish with a padded border tracing the edge of the headboard, so the design looks tailored rather than upholstered as an afterthought.

A Cleaner Take on Velvet Luxury

Unlike crushed velvet, which catches light unevenly across its rumpled pile, plush velvet lies flat and smooth, giving the Marta a calm, uniform sheen that won’t compete with patterned bedding or a bold accent wall. The border detail adds a quiet architectural line around the headboard’s edge — enough definition to look considered, without tipping into fussy.

Sized and Specced Around Your Room

The Marta Border Bed starts at Single 3ft and scales through Small Double, Double, King and Super King, with headboard height add-ons if you want more presence against the wall. Storage is where it earns its keep: go bare-base, add an ottoman gas-lift storage base, or fit two or four drawers underneath, plus a matching footstool if you want the full set. Assembly and room-of-choice delivery can both be added at checkout.

Practical Enough for Daily Life

Plush velvet’s tight, even weave holds up well against everyday knocks and doesn’t flatten or crush the way looser pile fabrics can. White does show marks a touch faster than darker tones, so a fabric protector treatment straight after delivery is worth the ten minutes it takes.

FAQs

Is plush white velvet hard to keep clean?
No — a soft-brush vacuum attachment weekly keeps the pile looking new, and most everyday marks lift with a barely damp cloth. A fabric protectant applied before first use makes ongoing care easier still.

What’s the difference between plush and crushed velvet?
Plush velvet has a smooth, even pile that reflects light consistently for a more polished finish. Crushed velvet is treated to leave a permanent rumpled texture, which shows more shading and pattern in the same colour.

Can I add ottoman storage to the Marta Border Bed?
Yes — the Storage Base option covers both end-lift ottoman and gas-lift storage, and you can choose two or four under-bed drawers separately if you’d rather have drawer access.

How long does delivery take?
Timing depends on size and any customization chosen at checkout — assembly and room delivery can both be added as options if you’d rather not build it yourself.
