Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

Description
White Velvet Bed: Meet the Dominga
Searching for a white velvet bed that holds up to daily life, not just a showroom photo? The Dominga Velvet Bed pairs a soft, plush-white velvet finish with a frame built for real bedrooms. Set on a sturdy divan base and available with full ottoman or gas-lift storage, it turns “elegant” into something you actually use every night, from £280.
A Plush White Velvet Finish, Built to Last
The Dominga’s white plush velvet upholstery has that soft, hotel-luxury look without the fragile feel some crushed velvet beds develop after a few months. The tone is deep and even, so it sits comfortably next to grey, blush or natural wood accents. Underneath, a reinforced frame and slatted base support the mattress evenly, so the bed keeps its shape long after the “new bed” glow wears off.
Sized and Specced Around Your Room
Choose from Single, Small Double, Double, King and Super King, then build the bed out to match how you actually sleep and store:
- Headboard height: add 10–40cm for a statement look, or keep it low and modern
- Storage: no storage, ottoman end-lift, or gas-lift base for hidden bedding and clothes
- Drawers: 2 or 4 built-in storage drawers if you’d rather skip the ottoman lift
- Mattress: memory foam or 1000–3000 pocket-spring options, soft through to firm
- Delivery: main-entrance drop-off, room delivery, or full delivery and assembly
Why Choose the Dominga Over Other White Velvet Beds
Most white velvet beds come in one fixed configuration, with customization stopping at colour. The Dominga lets you choose your storage type, headboard height and even a split headboard before it leaves the warehouse. If you’ve compared listings on Wayfair or eBay and found the options limited, this is the version built to fit your room rather than the other way round.
White Velvet Bed FAQs
Does the Dominga come in colours other than white?
Yes. Alongside plush white, the same style is available in over a dozen plush velvet shades, plus crushed velvet, chenille, boucle and faux leather, if you want to compare fabrics before deciding.
How do I keep a white velvet bed clean?
Vacuum the headboard weekly with a soft brush attachment and blot spills immediately rather than rubbing them in. A fabric protector spray applied before first use makes ongoing care easier.
What storage comes with the Dominga?
Add an ottoman end-lift base, a gas-lift base, or 2–4 built-in drawers, or skip storage entirely and keep the frame lower to the ground.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery timing depends on the options you select. Choose room delivery or full assembly at checkout if you’d rather not build it yourself.
