Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

Description
Arabella Sage Strip Bed
Bring texture and calm to your bedroom with the Arabella Sage Strip Bed — a channel-stitched divan frame upholstered in soft, linen-weave fabric in a muted sage green. The vertical strip detailing running down the headboard gives it real presence without shouting for attention, and sage’s grounding, botanical undertone works as easily in a minimalist scheme as it does against warm wood and brass.
A Headboard Built With Texture in Mind
The strip-channel headboard is stitched in clean vertical lines for a tailored, boutique-hotel look, finished in a linen-effect fabric that’s soft to the touch and easy to keep looking fresh. Choose a standard headboard or add extra height (+10cm to +40cm) for a more dramatic silhouette, and opt for a split headboard in two pieces if you need easier access up narrow stairs or landings.
Sized and Specced Around You
The Arabella Sage Strip Bed is available from a Single 3ft right up to a Superking 6ft, so it works for a first bedroom or a main suite alike. Build it out to suit how you actually sleep and store:
- Mattress: from pocket memory foam through to a 3000-pocket pillow-top, so the base can be ordered with or without one
- Storage: no storage, 2 or 4 drawers, or a full ottoman gas-lift / end-lift base for maximising under-bed space
- Footstool & ottoman box: matching pieces available in the same Linen Sage fabric, sized to your bed
- Delivery: choose main-entrance drop-off, room delivery, or full delivery and assembly
Why Sage Is Having a Moment in UK Bedrooms
Sage sits in the same softly-muted green family as the sage kitchens and front doors that have taken over UK interiors — it’s calming, it photographs well, and crucially it doesn’t fight with the rest of your decor. Paired with warm oak, rattan or brass hardware, the Arabella Sage Strip Bed reads as considered rather than trend-chasing, which is exactly why sage bed frames are one of the fastest-growing searches in UK bedroom furniture right now.
Frequently Asked Questions
What mattress works best with the Arabella Sage Strip Bed? Any of our listed options will fit the base, but for a softer feel we’d suggest the Coolgel or memory foam mattresses; for firmer support, the 2000 or 3000 Pocket Spring options work well.
Will the sage colour match the photos exactly? Fabric tones can shift slightly under different lighting, so if colour-matching to existing decor is important, we’d recommend requesting a swatch before ordering.
Can I add storage later, or does it need to be chosen at purchase? Storage base, drawers and the ottoman box are configured at the point of order, since they affect the build of the divan base — so it’s worth deciding on storage needs before checkout.
Is assembly included? Only if you select the “Delivery & Assemble” option at checkout — standard and room delivery are drop-off only.
