Helia Strip Star Bed — Buy a Strip Bed Online from £329 | Stupor Beds & Mattresses

If you’ve been searching to buy a strip bed online, you already know what most sites offer — limited colours, long 8–10 week waits, vague customisation, and prices that start well above £600. The Helia Strip Star Bed from Stupor Beds & Mattresses changes that conversation entirely.

Starting at just £329, this is a fully customisable, upholstered strip-panel bed frame built for real UK bedrooms — delivered faster, priced fairer, and tailored further than anything else in this category.

Why the Helia Strip Star Bed Stands Apart

The strip headboard design has become one of the most searched bed styles in the UK — and for good reason. Those clean vertical panels add height, structure, and a sense of architectural luxury that plain upholstered beds simply can’t match. The Helia takes that further with its star detailing, giving it a signature identity that holds its own in any master bedroom or guest room setting.

9 Fabric Families. Dozens of Colours. One Bed Built Around You.

Most strip beds online give you 3 or 4 fabric choices. The Helia gives you nine distinct fabric families to choose from:

Crushed Velvet — rich, light-catching depth in shades like Champagne, Silver, Gold, Red, and Lilac. Plush Velvet — softer to the touch, available in Teal, Sky, Mustard Gold, Pebble, and Steel. Boucle Teddy — the cosy, textured look trending across UK interiors right now. Chenille — a warm weave in Mink, Charcoal, Cream, and Silver. Coniston — a durable fabric in statement tones like Armour, Gold, Green, and Pink. Linen — understated and breathable, across 12 shades from Sage to Copper. Naples — structured with a subtle sheen in Sand, Muave, Slate, and more. Arizona — sharp and resilient in Black, Grey, and Chocolate. Faux Leather — wipe-clean, contemporary, in five classic tones.

No other strip bed at this price point in the UK market comes close to this level of upholstery choice.

Sizes, Storage & Headboard Height — All Configurable

Choose your size: Single 3ft, Small Double, Double 4ft, King Size 5ft, or Super King 6ft. Then decide how tall you want your headboard — add +10cm, +20cm, +30cm, or +40cm to create a truly grand focal point. Competitors either fix the headboard height or charge a premium to change it. Here, it’s part of your standard build.

For storage, pick between a Standard Base with Slats, a Gas Lift base, or a Divan Ottoman with End Lift — three genuinely useful options, not an upsell afterthought. Add a matching Ottoman Box or a Foot Stool to complete the bedroom set.

Mattress Included — If You Want It

Unlike Italian import brands that ship the frame and leave you hunting separately for a mattress, the Helia lets you bundle in a quality mattress at checkout. Choose from 1000, 2000, or 3000 Pocket Spring, Pillow Top, or Spring Memory Foam options — each available in varying firmness grades.

Professional Assembly. Your Room. Zero Stress.

Add professional bed assembly at checkout and our team arrives, builds, and clears up — so your bedroom is ready the same day. No tools, no guesswork, no flat-pack frustration.
