Colette Stone TV Bed

The Colette Stone TV Bed pairs a soft, warm-neutral upholstery with one of the most practical pieces of furniture you can put in a bedroom: a bed that hides an entire television inside its footboard. Press the remote and the screen rises smoothly into view; press it again and it disappears, leaving nothing but a clean, tailored headboard and a room that still looks like a bedroom rather than a media suite.

Why Stone Works So Well as a TV Bed Colour

Stone sits between grey and beige, which is exactly why it’s become one of the most requested shades for ottoman and TV beds. It reads as calm and contemporary without pulling too warm or too cold, so it sits comfortably against oak, walnut, or painted furniture, and against most existing bedding and curtain schemes. If you’d rather explore the wider palette, the Colette is also made to order in bouclé, linen, and crushed velvet finishes — but Stone remains the one that suits the broadest range of bedrooms straight out of the box.

Built to Actually Live With

Smooth-rise TV lift — A quiet, motorised mechanism raises the screen from the footboard at the touch of a button, with cable routing built in so there’s no trailing wire between the bed and the wall socket.

Hidden ottoman storage — Beneath the mattress platform, a gas-assisted lift reveals a full-length storage void, deep enough for spare bedding, out-of-season clothing, or the boxes that usually end up under the bed anyway.

Solid timber frame — Unlike the flat-pack, engineered-board construction common on TV beds at this price point, the Colette is built on a proper timber frame with solid wooden slats — the difference you feel when you sit on the edge of the bed rather than when you read the spec sheet.

Handmade in Halifax, Made to Your Spec

Every Colette is made to order in our own West Yorkshire workshop rather than shipped in from an overseas factory line, which is why we can offer genuine fabric customisation rather than a fixed colour run. It comes with a 1-year frame warranty as standard, and delivery is free within 175 miles of Halifax.

“We went round three showrooms before ordering the Colette in Stone. It’s the only TV bed we saw that didn’t feel like flat-pack — and the fabric looks better in the room than it did in the swatch.” — verified customer review

Is the Stone fabric easy to keep clean? Yes — the fabric is designed to be wiped clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. We’d recommend avoiding chemical or abrasive cleaning products to keep the finish looking new.
