Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

Description
Luna Strip Bed, Your Next Luxury King Size Bed Base UK, From Just £280
If you’ve been searching for a quality King Size Bed Base UK that genuinely stands apart from the standard high-street offering, the Luna Strip Bed from Stupor Beds & Mattresses was made for exactly that moment.
Most beds you’ll find locally — whether at chain stores on Bilston Road or out-of-town retail parks — give you a fixed colour, a fixed fabric, and a take-it-or-leave-it price. The Luna Strip Bed works differently. It’s a fully customisable upholstered bed frame built around your room, your taste, and your budget. That’s not something Bensons, Dreams, or iLikeBeds can offer you.
What Makes the Luna Strip Bed Different?
The Luna’s signature comes from its horizontal strip-line detailing running along the base panel — a clean, architectural feature that adds real visual weight to the room without screaming for attention. It sits equally well in a minimal, contemporary bedroom as it does in a more layered, luxurious space.
What really separates it from every other bed for sale in the UK right now is how deeply you can make it your own.
Choose Your Size
Available in five UK standard sizes:
- Single 3ft
- Small Double 4ft
- Double 4ft 6″
- King Size 5ft
- Super King 6ft
Whether you’re furnishing a single spare room or kitting out a master bedroom that deserves a proper centrepiece, there’s a Luna built for that space.
Choose Your Fabric — 9 Premium Upholstery Options
This is where Stupor Beds pulls well ahead of local competitors. No flat-pack, no stock colour, no compromise. Pick the fabric that suits your bedroom:
- Crushed Velvet — rich, light-catching, ideal for a statement room
- Plush Velvet — deeper pile, softer tone, seriously tactile
- Boucle Teddy — the textured, warm look that interior designers can’t stop specifying right now
- Chenille — classic weave with a subtle sheen
- Coniston Fabric — structured and hardwearing, perfect for high-use bedrooms
- Linen Fabric — breathable, relaxed, pairs beautifully with neutral palettes
- Naples Fabric — smooth and contemporary with excellent colour retention
- Arizona Fabric — durable and easy-care
- Faux Leather — sleek, wipeable, effortlessly modern
Each fabric is available across a wide colour palette — from Crushed Velvet Champagne and Plush Mink to Coniston Teal and Linen Midnight — giving you genuine creative control over the finished look.
Built-in Smart Storage
Unlike a basic bed frame from a local clearance store or a generic online retailer, the Luna Strip Bed lets you choose how the base works for you:
- Standard Base with Slats — classic support, slightly lower profile
- Gas Lift Storage — hydraulic lift for generous under-bed storage
- Divan Ottoman End Lift — smooth, effortless access from the foot of the bed
For Wolverhampton households where bedroom storage is tight, upgrading to gas lift or ottoman storage turns your bed into one of the hardest-working pieces of furniture in your home.
Add a Mattress — No Extra Trip Required
Rather than buying a bed frame here and hunting for a compatible mattress elsewhere, you can bundle your choice directly at checkout:
- 1000 Pocket Spring (Medium to Firm)
- 1000 Pocket Spring Pillow Top (Medium to Firm)
- 2000 Pocket Spring (Firm)
- 2000 Pocket Spring Pillow Top (Firm)
- 3000 Pocket Spring (Firm)

Headboard Height, Foot Stool & Ottoman Add-Ons
